This is a pierced two sided carving. The squirrel is a copy of the bench end in Lanteglos in limewood rather than the original oak. 440 x 355 x 120mm.

Cobweb

There is no cobweb on the Lanteglos choir stall. The idea of carving a cobweb on the other side was inspired by Violet Pinwill's carvings in other locations, like the pulpit at Stoke Fleming and a choir stall at Crantock.
